Radiant Pavilion Proposals Open

unnamed-1-560x450Applications close 9 October 2016

Radiant Pavilion is a celebration of the many aspects of contemporary jewellery and object practice in Melbourne and around the world. In 2015 the curated program ran over six days and included urban interventions, performances and installations, as well as exhibitions, talks and open studios. Drawing from the strong community surrounding contemporary jewellery and object in Melbourne, Radiant Pavilion has taken shape over the past three years and encompasses events from national and international artists.

In coordinating an active program of events, Radiant Pavilion aims to support and celebrate the contemporary jewellery and object field by

  • Creating a new platform for presentation, participation and investigation
  • Connecting artists, theorists, collectors, wearers and appreciators from Australia and around the world
  • Growing the audience by increasing visibility and awareness of the field
  • Building sustainable interest in and appreciation for the art form
  • Establishing a southern focal point for the global field
