Irene Community Warehouse

Irene Warehouse is a not-for-profit artist space run by a small collective of artists and creatives in a former two-storey lingerie factory in Brunswick. The space exists to support local artists and community-minded projects throughout local areas and beyond.

The warehouse started in 2001, after the Irene Lingerie company here went bankrupt in the 1980s. We’ve powered through a lot since then and today Irene exists as a diverse artist community, working space, and vibrant networking hub—supporting a wide range of groups and individual artists working on sculpture, painting, textiles, performance art, computer graphics and animation, dancing, music, recording, film-making, jewellery, photography, theatre, wood-working, screen printing, 3D printing, and much more…We’ve been here for a long haul and have a diverse range of spaces available for hire to support your next project.

Write to us to see how we can help with your next creative endeavour!
